About your Rental Confirmation:
Please review the entire booking confirmation before signing/agreeing to Credit Card Authorization. Please confirm your name, address, and telephone number, the nightly rate and non-refundable cleaning fee and booking fee. Please confirm your total amount due, number of guests in your party, the home/unit description and address. There will be an informational booklet in your unit with emergency information and things to do and anything specific to the property.
Reservations, Deposits and Payments:
A deposit of $200.00 of the total rent ("the deposit") is due to Shaver Lake Cabin Rentals to confirm your reservation. This includes your non-refundable booking/processing fee of $75.00. Payments may be made by check or by credit card (Visa, Master Card, Discover Card). All deposits must be received within 7 days of booking date. The booking date is the date on which the completed reservation is taken by Shaver Lake Cabin Rentals, including all credit card information. Final payment on the reservation is due 30 days prior to arrival. If arrival date is less than 30 days from the booking date, final payment will be due immediately. By giving your credit card authorization you agree to assume responsibility for any damage that has occurred during your visit to the house or unit and adjacent common areas. A credit card may be used for payments and security guarantee. If you have chosen not to use a credit card for security, an advance deposit of $500 may required with final payment as a security deposit towards any damages, lost keys or remotes, extra cleaning needed or unpaid obligations you may incur.

A deposit of $200.00 of total rent ("the deposit") is due to Shaver Lake Cabin Rentals to confirm your reservation. Payments may be made by check or by credit card (Visa, Master Card, Discover Card). Final payment on the reservation is due 45 days prior to arrival. If arrival is less than 45 days from the booking date, final payment will be due immediately. As renters, you agree to assume responsibility for any damage that has occurred during your visit to the house or unit and adjacent common areas. A credit card may be used for payments and security guarantee. If you have chosen not to use a credit card for security, an advance deposit of $500 is required with final payment as a security deposit towards any damages, lost keys or remotes, extra cleaning needed or unpaid obligations you may incur.
Credit Card Authorization:
Guest Authorizes SLCR to charge guests' credit card account for Deposits, Reservation, Booking/Processing Fee, Rental Fee, Cleaning, and any damage expenses without further authorization from responsible parties.
Cancellation Policy:
All cancellations must be submitted and acknowledged by Shaver Lake Cabin Rentals no later than 30 days prior to your scheduled check-in date as shown on the reservation confirmation sent/faxed/emailed to you. Cancellation of your reservation after full payment of the total amount due, and/or less than 30 days prior to check-in date will result in forfeiture of your entire payment. If your cancellation is request is received at least 30 days before your check-in date, your deposit will be refunded in full less your non-refundable booking/processing fee and cleaning fees.
Confirmations:
Signed Confirmations must be received in the office at least seven (7) days of booking reservation. If booking a reservation within 7 days or less, signed confirmation must be received within 1 day of booking reservation or reservations may be canceled. NO Keys will be given out without signed confirmation on File.
Linens:
Both sheets and towels are provided in all units. Daily linen service is NOT provided. Washers and dryers are provided in most units. Please review your confirmation amenities for washer and dryer availabilities. Towels are supplied for the number of guests accommodated by unit and sheets for beds/sleepers/futons located in the property. Extra linens can be provided for an additional fee.
Non-Refundable Cleaning Fee:
This fee is a charge for cleaning and is NOT A DEPOSIT. Cleaning fee varies depending on size of the rental unit.
Rate Changes:
Rates are subject to change without notice.
Housekeeping Service:
The property will be professionally cleaned prior to guest arrival. One cleaning is scheduled after your departure. Mid stay cleaning may be arranged and an additional fee will apply. At the end of your stay, we would appreciate it if you would start the dishwasher making sure it is full, straighten the kitchen and bag your trash. Do not make or straighten the beds. The cleaning service will take care of everything else.
Allergies:
It is the responsibility of the guest to notify Shaver Lake Cabin Rentals if the guest has any specific allergic conditions that could cause an unpleasant stay in any of the rental properties. Notification must be made at the time that the reservation is being made. All efforts will be made in order to accommodate the guest's specific requirements. Shaver Lake Cabin Rentals cannot guarantee that a dog, cat, or other animal, or smoke has never been in the property being rented.
Maximum Occupancy:
Maximum Occupancy is determined unit by unit. If the maximum occupancy is exceded, you may be subject to immediate cancellation or additional charges, to include, but not limited to: additional cleaning charges, parking fines.
Pets:
Pets are not permitted unless unit is specified as "pet friendly". All pets must be leashed at all times. Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up any/all pet refuse. Pets are not allowed on furniture at any time. Any evidence of pets on furniture may incur extra cleaning fees. All pets must be up-to-date on rabies vaccinations and all other vaccinations. Heartworm and flea and tick prevention is highly recommended. All items above are the sole responsibility of the pet owner. The cabin owners assume no responsibility for illness or injury that humans or pets may incur while on the premises.
Parking:
If unit requires parking passes, they will be located in unit. Renters must display parking pass on the rear view mirror at all times. Failure to do so will result in towing of vehicle at renters expense. There is limited parking per unit, especially during snow season. Some areas do not allow RV, boat or trailer parking. Shaver Lake Cabin Rentals does not supply garage door openers for all properties that have garages. Some residential areas prohibit on-street parking at all or during snow removal conditions. Vehicles are subject to towing and fining if on the street during snowstorms and snow removal. Vehicles left in or blocking driveways will prevent driveways from being plowed during winter storms. Shaver Lake Cabin Rentals will not be responsible for driveways that are not plowed if vehicles block the snow removal service. Leave parking passes inside the unit on the kitchen counter upon departure.
Check In/Check Out:
Check-in time is 3:00 pm. Check-out time is 11:00 am. Keys will be released to the responsible party unless alternate arrangements have been made with SLCR. All guests and occupants of the property shall vacate the property and return keys to our office no later than 11:00 am on the scheduled date of departure. Leave garage door openers and parking passes on kitchen counter, lock doors and close windows. If the property has not been completely vacated by agreed upon check out time, guest may be charged an additional fee.
Noise:
Please be aware and respectful to the neighbors around you. You are required to follow the ordinances of Fresno County. Failure to do so will result in an early departure.
Hot Tubs:
When using hot tubs remember there is a certain health risk associated with this facility. Use at your own risk. Our Maintenance staff drains, sanitize, refill and replenish chemicals in all tubs prior to your arrival. Therefore, it may not be warm until later that evening. Do not stand on the hot tub cover. Hot tub covers are for the insulation purposes and are not designed to support a person or persons. They will break and you may be charged for replacement. Remember when not using the hot tub, leave cover on so hot tub will stay warm. All Children must be supervised around hot tubs at all times.
Emergency Calls:
Phones can be used for emergencies only please call 911.
Fireplaces:
If wood burning fireplace, do not burn paper products of any sort in fireplace. Fireplaces are not for cooking purposes.
Firewood:
Firewood is not guaranteed at any of our properties. If burning a fire is important you may want to bring wood with you or it can be purchased at the local area stores in bundles, or we can arrange to have it waiting for you.
Campfires:
Are not permitted at our units.
Water and Septic:
Cabins are on their own septic and well systems. Water varies from cabin to cabin with the mineral content being high in some units. The septic systems are very effective; however, it will clog up if improper material is flushed. DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No Feminine products at all should be flushed, they will clog the system.
Telephone:
Telephone use is varied from cabin to cabin.Telephone use is for emergency use only call 911 in case of an emergency. All calls need to be made by your personal cell phones or if you need to make a call you will be required to call collect. You can do this by dialing 00 for operator assistance. All long distance calls made by guests will be charged to your account.
Bathroom/Kitchen:
Each property is supplied with a sufficient amount of bathroom tissue and kitchen paper towels based on the property size and number of guests.
Keys:
Keys can be picked up at our office daily between 3:00 pm and 4:30 pm. A map to Shaver Lake Cabin Rentals can be provided with your emailed or mailed confirmation, which details the location of our office. There is a minimum charge of $25.00 if keys or garage door openers are missing upon departure. Each reservation will receive up to two sets of keys for the property.
Lost or Missing Items:
SLCR is not responsible for missing or left behind items. We will be happy to hold them or ship them to you. Please contact us within 48 hours of check out to report any left behind items. We will make our best effort, but, no guarantees will be made for a successful retrieval. Please check the home or unit thoroughly before departing.
Safety:
Wear proper clothing, shoes and equipment and keep snow and ice clear of walkways and driveways. Please supervise children at all times.
Weather Consideration:
Shaver Lake Cabin Rentals will not be held responsible for guests inability to meet the reservation date due to weather conditions, highway closures, flight delays or flight cancellations. SLCR is not responsible for inconveniences due to the elements. In the event a problem occurs that is in our control, we will do our best to solve it in a timely manner. SLCR will do our best to describe your rental to you, however checking for special needs is recommended. No discounts, refunds of rents will be given for mishaps, weather, ski, snowboarding conditions at China Peak or lake levels or conditions. During winter months, you must carry tire chains (Per Cal Tran's regulations). For California Road Conditions call 1(800)427-7623. Please use extreme caution when traveling in snowstorm conditions or on wet/icy/snow covered roads. Obey all chain control restrictions and inspection points. California will fine heavily for violations of emergency road condition controls. Shaver Lake Cabin Rentals is not responsible for inaccurate road condition reports. Parking is plowed in the winter prior to (but not guaranteed) guests arrival. Road and driveway snow removal is done by independent vendors on their own schedule.
Travel Insurance:
We highly recommend all guests purchase travel insurance. If you wish to purchase travel insurance go to http://www.travelguard.com for Travel Insurance details and to purchase.
Boat and Trailer Parking:
Boat and trailer parking is permitted EXCEPT in the following subdivisions: Ockenden Ranch, Bretz Mill Condos, Sierra Pines, Musick Falls, or Granite Ridge. Guest is responsible for any penalties from an Association. If this represents a problem please let us know as soon as possible. SLCR may be able to make arrangements for alternate parking.
Property Relocation:
Shaver Lake Cabin Rentals reserves the right to move confirmed reservations to another property of comparable value as determined by Shaver Lake Cabin Rentals, if the property becomes unavailable due to damage, or sale or other conditions outside of our control.
Parties:
Shaver Lake Cabin Rentals has a strict policy regarding misuse of the properties. No parties, weddings, etc within or outside of the property without prior written notice and confirmation. Unauthorized use of the rental property will cause a minimum $500 charge to your credit card and immediate cancellation and forfeiture of your reservation.
Property Damage:
All properties will be inspected after guest departure. If evidence of anything other than ordinary wear and tear is present, the departing guest will be financially responsible for repair and/or replacement of damaged property.
Terms and Conditions:
Prices, terms and amenities are subject to change without notification at SLCR discretion. We will honor all prices at the time of booking. We appreciate your business and thank you for your cooperation in complying with these terms and conditions and all other rules, laws and ordinances.
Hold Harmless/Indemnity:
All of the cabins are privately owned. The owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables. Shaver Lake Cabin Rentals is not responsible for the safety or security of you, your guests or your property while staying the property. As a condition of booking a property with Shaver Lake Cabin Rentals (i.e. the persons booking the reservation or approving the credit card authorization or delivery the deposit) for the short-term rental) agree on behalf of yourself, your family members and your guest to hold Shaver Lake Cabin Rentals, and any employees and owners harmless and to defend and indemnify Shaver Lake Cabin Rentals from any and all claims, including but, not limited to claims for bodily injury, property damage or negligence, suffered by you your family members or your guests as a result of any rental unit booked through Shaver Lake Cabin Rentals.
Warranty of Authority:
Any person signing or otherwise approving a credit card authorization form provided by Shaver Lake Cabin Rentals warrants that he or she has the cardholders express authority to use the card up to the maximum credit limits available for the card.
